We’ll help you through the whole process of designing and developing your new website, from planning and preparation to hand over and maintenance.
Let us help you with a new professional website design and development, achieve your online goals faster and for less.
Before we get started on your new website design and development, I suggest you consider these points.
1. What do you want the website to do for your business?
Are you expecting new people who don’t know about your company or your products and services to find you online?
Perhaps you want to add on to your existing sales and marketing efforts and direct people to your website yourself.
Understanding this will save you a load of time, hassle and money.
2. What is your call to action?
If you are clear about the people who will visit your website, how they are going to get there and what they are looking for. Then you can decide on the best navigation and call to action, because you will better understand their thinking and what they are looking for.
You can’t turn everyone into a customer, only the people who are ready to buy your products and services, using that to your advantage will improve results.
3. Who is going to arrange the written content and images/video?
So often overlooked, but probably the most important part of the project. Matching your website content and message with all your other sales & marketing messages is important if you want to achieve the best possible conversion rates.
People use the internet to gather information, reasons to buy, so offering conflicting messages will only confuse them and delay or even put off a sale.
I suggest you make use of a copy writer if you don’t already have a sales and marketing plan in place.
4. If you want people to find your website using the search engines, like Google, then you will need search engine optimisation.
SEO or search engine optimisation is an over used term, but there are no short cuts either. There are clear guidelines and industry standards that need to be met to have any chance of competing effectively for keywords and search terms. A well thought out and planned seo install at the website development stage is ideal and will definitely help you achieve results cheaper and faster.
5. How are you planning to keep it up to date and maintained?
Modern website are built as CMS (content management systems), designed to allow general users to upload new content and make basic amendments.
You can add news stories, update page content or new products with relative ease.
The software used to build these websites are ‘’open source’’, which is free to use and open to the community. Like all software, there are regular updates to maintain performance and security.
Maintaining your website is important for the best possible user experience.
